To celebrate our community of incredible women #workingatINIT, we have invited our colleagues from all over the world to join the official 2022 International Women´s Day #BreakTheBias campaign.
This year's campaign is about drawing attention to the fact that women consciously, but also often unconsciously, have to experience prejudice which makes it harder for them to show their potential and get ahead. For this reason, this year's campaign uses the symbol of a cross, in order to show that we stand up against these prejudices and will not tolerate them. Many of our colleagues have taken photos with their arms crossed to show solidarity and stand up against prejudice, inequality and discrimination.
Additionally, in order to raise awareness within our company, on 8th March we hosted a very interactive, international and inspiring presentation delivered by Cristina Gwynn. In her role as a psychologist, she helped us to better understand the prejudices that women experience and offered them tools to improve their self-confidence. She even delivered her empowering presentation twice to enable our colleagues located in different time zones to attend the presentation.
At INIT we truly believe that we are stronger together and better when we foster diversity, equity and inclusion. And because we want to continue supporting women, not only during international women´s day, interested employees have used this occasion to launch an employee resource group, providing our community of women working at INIT with a space to stay connected, share concerns and continue increasing awareness.
