Convenient passenger information is a key component of attractive public transport. Studies show that real-time information in particular enhances the perception of service quality and contributes to passenger satisfaction*. With TRANSFERinfo, an add-on to INIT's Intermodal Transport Control System MOBILE-ITCS, you can make an additional contribution in this area and take your passenger information to the next level. After all, when travelling, passengers are primarily interested in one thing: what options do I actually have for continuing my journey at the next stop when I arrive there?

Well informed in the vehicle

Today's passengers expect more than just a display showing the next stop. The crucial question is: which connections can I actually reach when I get off? With TRANSFERinfo, you can expand your passenger information precisely in this area and increase the perceived quality of service in your vehicles. With MOBILE-ITCS and simple labelling in the data supply via the MOBILE-PLAN planning and data management system or a comparable planning system, as well as an on-board unit such as COPILOTpc, the IT and communication platform in the vehicle, or EVENDpc, the PC-based ticket printer and on-board computer, you can create the ideal information basis for your passengers.

TRANSFERinfo displays relevant transfer information in real time directly in the vehicle, ensuring greater transparency and planning reliability. The following information is displayed:
 

  • the next suitable connections at the upcoming stop
  • only connections that can actually be reached after the predicted arrival time
  • the estimated departure times of the connections.

TRANSFERinfo provides your passengers with an additional overview, especially at busy stops and junctions.

Seamlessly integrated

TRANSFERinfo transmits transfer information to the vehicle and enables it to be displayed on the TFT interior displays. The following applies:

 

  • The layout is designed in the interior display software.
  • The display remains flexible and customisable.
  • The provision of information and the display design are clearly separated from each other.

Connection of third-party systems

With TRANSFERinfo, transfer information for external modes of transport, such as regional trains, can usually also be integrated. Each individual case would have to be checked in advance. And, of course, the displays appear in your design. After all, it is your system.

TRANSFERinfo can be flexibly expanded to include vehicles that are not directly connected to MOBILE-ITCS.
